Toy Fair 2015

13 November 2016

Every January, toy companies gather at a series of exhibitions around the world to show off their ranges for the year to retailers and the press. Toy Fair 2015 took place 20-22 January at Olympia London which was transformed for three days into every kid's dream, bursting at the seams with toys galore!
During the show, we revealed new launches from K'NEX that will be available later this year. You may have seen or heard about them already, as they were covered by BBC News, The Sunday Telegraph, Metro, MSN UK and Stuff Magazine. If not, here's a round-up of what our awesome K'NEX fans can look forward to this year:

  • K'NEX K-FORCE, a line of buildable, customisable blasters created by our awesome team after we discovered thousands of fans were already searching for K'NEX blasters.
  • K'NEX Mighty Makers, offering girls STEM learning experiences through aspirational aviation, horticulture and marine biology themed playsets.
  • K'NEX Beasts Alive, a line of dinosaur and dragon themed building sets with motorized walking and wing movements for extra construction play fun.
  • K'NEX Thrill Rides Sky Sprinter, which at seven foot tall is the biggest ever K'NEX coaster available to buy!
  • K'NEX 20th Anniversary Big Ball Factory, a new version of a classic model with more than 3,000 pieces that can also create an incredible alternative build – a giant ferris wheel.

Lots of people ask us what the best bit of Toy Fair is but it's hard to choose just one. It's always great to have some fun with retailers and press so it was brilliant to see so many of them testing their blasting skills at a specially built K-FORCE target practice range. We can't wait to see similar creations by K'NEX fans when the range launches later this year.
Of course we also enjoyed sharing our collection of building tubs and treasure chests, which remain at the heart of everything we do. This year will be no different, with generous piece counts and dozens of inspiring creative building ideas at amazing price points from just £2.99.
We're really pleased that the new additions to our range of construction toys will be widely available for UK K'NEX fans to enjoy this year. Why not tell us on Twitter and Facebook which of our K'NEX big things you're looking forward to building with in 2015!
